Project Details
Our 2014 installation at the Upper Fort Garry Provincial Park features a 6’ tall double-sided wood fence resembling the original 1800s Fort wall. Mounted on a concrete grade beam, this fence has 6x6 wood posts wrapped in Black Geotech Fibre material encased with horizontal 2x4s. Pillar-like corners with intricate mitred details enhance the historical look. This Fort-style wall proudly supports a substantial steel sign, sharing the rich history of the Upper Fort Garry Provincial Park. Our project also includes a charming boardwalk made from 3x12 wood timbers and 2x10 joists, mirroring the streets of the mid-1800s trading post. The boardwalk extends to a raised wooden stage, surrounded by concrete forms, creating a versatile space for events and performances.
